Honest Club Interview Answers
Q. How do you think joining this club will impact your academic and social life?
A. Well, my academics might honestly suffer because I don't spend enough time on my studies anyway. If I have to dedicate time to the club, I will actually have less time to study. However that might not be so bad for I will feel like I have a valid excuse for my poor performance in academics.
As for my social life, I really do hope it improves because the only time I get to talk to people who aren't relatives or partners in group projects are when I actually meet people outside class. So basically, never. I sincerely believe that being a part of this club will give me the chance to talk to many other people while I pretend to work.
Q. What activity, besides academics, has been the most important in terms of your personal growth?
A. I don't think I have had any kind of personal growth ever actually, but I can say with full confidence that social media has changed my life, probably for the worse.
Q. Convince us of something.
A. The only thing I can convince you of if you haven't already been convinced is that I will not be beneficial for this club in any way.
Q. What would you change about the club?
A. Definitely the recruitment process because a slacker like me should not have made it to the interview round at all.
Q. What is your greatest weakness?
A. Oh man, where do I even begin? I don't think I have one major weakness; I have plenty of little ones like getting distracted by anything that exists and complaining about tasks that seem quite simple when I've given up on them and watch other people complete it.
Q. What does it mean to be a leader?
A. Honestly, I have no clue. I personally realise that I need to make sure I get what I want without putting in too much effort so I guess for me it means delegating all tasks to people so I have to do nothing.
Q. How do you efficiently resolve conflicts?
A. How funny. Why would you resolve conflicts when you can film it and enjoy? Imagine how many likes and shares you would get if you upload a real fight or argument on social media. Moreover, when else do you get the chance to witness people in conflict in real life? A life outside our cell phones is important too you know.
Q. Mark your skills and briefly explain your experience.
a. Graphics design — can paint houses using squares and triangles on MS Paint. Can also create trees with the line option and filled-in-circles.
b. Writing and research — searched countless people on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and whatever other app was used by the person I was stalking. Wrote thoroughly researched and well thought-out analyses and theories about the prey to find out whether the person is worth my or my friend's time, energy and effort.
c. Video editing — can use the Boomerang effect on Instagram.
d. Photography — have plenty of experience taking pictures. I am a patient and dedicated photographer with an eye for detail. Once I took 1001 selfies and picked only three to post.
