People as genres of music

While you may have started the day listening to your favourite jam and are probably enjoying one as you read this, let some basic music genres define you.

ROCK

You are the rebellious type, the one who questions everything that crosses your path. You are a variety of your own: alternative, indie, psychedelic, punk. Although you should at times try to handle your short-tempered self, it is the same boiling temper that attracts many. You are just someone who knows his/her flaws but still loves oneself. Everybody can relate to your problems or at least fantasises relating to it. Speaking out your mind has never been your problem. Also, you have a courageous heart that isn't genuinely afraid of anything.

RHYTHM AND BLUES

All your friends love you for your calm and collected self. You are like a hallucination to them. Often spending time with you, others may feel like they are escaping a brutal piece of reality. That is how you influence them. You are magnetic with the right people and cruel with the wrong. It's not like you are carefree; you are more like a smart kid who smiles like an idiot.

JAZZ

Elegance, elegance and more elegance. You are poised, graceful but with a twist of a mad sense of enjoyment. You value perfection over class. Most often, you take long drives and party in your own way. You have a bunch of friends without whom you feel incomplete and so wherever you can, you take them with you.

CLASSICAL

You have a strong mindset that you consider the best part of you. Almost all the time, you feel like you just don't fit in this wild upgoing century. You are someone who belongs to the faded pages of a history book. Your philosophy along with your keen insight is a relinquishment of its own. Many a time, you smile that actually says, “Decipher me.”

COUNTRY

Rustic, down-to-earth you are, with a sloppy side. Storytelling is your ability, especially the tragic, emotional ones. You tell stories of your life which must include at least one heart-rending break-up. But you probably romanticise too much. Sometimes, you can also be the best of listeners.

EDM

You are electronic to the core, as your genre personality suggests. People always find you in their nearby raves, dancing to almost everything. You bring that electricity to everything you do which quietly amazes everyone. Even when you're depressed, you can create something energetically sad out of it. That said, don't think you are a good dancer just because you dance to everything.

POP

You are trendy, chic. You are that one person everyone can't bring themselves to hate. Always equipped with the latest fashion and the best words in the Urban Dictionary, you make people happy. But sometimes, you can also make them question themselves why they liked you in the first place. Cheer up though, those are just late-night thoughts that go away with popular trends.

HIP-HOP

You are the cool kid of your neighbourhood. You are relaxed, carefree, and impulsive. You talk way too fast. Even though we have no clue what you blabbered right now, we still think you are 'dope', not to mention 'smooth'. You got the bling bling and fat grins, eh? But too much of those gold chains remind people of Bappi Lahiri.

NEW AGE

You recycle, stay trash-free, encourage others to live sustainably, remain active regarding rights and privileges. The environment needs people like you as much as you need the nature to feel at ease with your life. Most often, you are meditating, doing yoga or writing blog entries about the war between humanism and capitalism. Either way, you are an inspiring piece of art which saddens us when we can't live up to your standards.

POP LATINO

Others often refer to you as someone catchy, as if you radiate a sort of contagious energy that makes them move. Everyone admires you for your ability to just blend in with the surroundings, even if for a transient period of time. Moreover, you are the definition of exotic. But, don't get your hopes high, you are far from Despacito 2.
