THE RIGHTFUL HEIR TO THE THRONE, SER POUNCE
Ser Pounce, the late king Tommen’s pet cat should have sat on the iron throne. And here’s why:
THE ONE TRUE KING
Ser Pounce, by law, deserves to rule Westeros. The cunning feline was Tommen’s cat and millennial laws suggest that he is the rightful heir. And what a cat he was – knowing the threat Margaery posed on Pounce’s ownership to the throne, he came between Tommen and the promised queen (Season 4 Episode 4: Oathkeeper) in a bid to keep his future rights intact. And now that all has come to pass, Ser Pounce has the most ownership over the throne.
HIS FLEXIBILITY
Bran is a cripple, Tyrion is a dwarf and Jon Snow knows nothing. Ser Pounce on the other hand has no qualms or reservations about being king, nor would he need any accommodations when it would come time to do the most important thing of all – sitting on the throne. Bran cannot move without his wheelchair and would need carrying on and off the throne. To create a moving iron throne, is a cost the crippled economy of Westeros perhaps cannot bear at this point. A similar case can be made for Tyrion who would need a foot stool to get on and off the throne, and quite frankly, this would cost the crown more than it needs to. Ser Pounce has neither of these problems, therefore making a case for his heightened genetic capacities as well. He can take his rightful place comfortably, and not even Cersei could have said anything about it.
And think about it, if Ser Pounce were to sit the iron throne, it would be the perfect story arch for Bran. He can finally use his warging abilities to good use. He would be the hand of the king, to the Pounce that was promised.
