ULAB shortlisted for “Outstanding Contribution to Regional Development” at Times Higher Education Awards Asia 2023

University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has been shortlisted for the "Outstanding Contribution to Regional Development" award at the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2023.

Other universities shortlisted for this award are Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, Christ University Bengaluru, India, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi, India, Institute of Community Colleges, Thailand, Naresuan University, Thailand, Taylor's University, Malaysia, and VIT University, India.

Alongside the Outstanding Contribution to Regional Development category, other categories for the THE Awards Asia 2023 include Excellence and Innovation in the Arts, International Strategy of the Year, Leadership and Management Team of the Year, Outstanding Contribution to Environmental Leadership, Outstanding Support for Students, Student Recruitment Campaign of the Year, Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year, Technological or Digital Innovation of the Year, and Workplace of the Year. 

This year's THE Awards Asia received around 700 submissions from 16 countries and territories. ULAB is the only Bangladeshi university to have been shortlisted this year. India has the highest number of entries this year (13), followed by Hong Kong (10) and Thailand (8).

The winners of the THE Awards Asia 2023 will be announced on June 21 in Hong Kong.
