Jalaler Golpo wins Portugal Film Festival Awards

"Jalaler Golpo" won two awards at the prestigious "19th Avanca International Film Festival" in Portugal. The awards won were for the categories "Best Film" and "Best Actor". The "Best Actor" award was given to Mosharrof Karim, who delivered a stellar performance in the film. The movie has been directed by Abu Shahed Emon. The awards were received by Managing Director of Impress Telefilm Ltd Faridur Reza Sagar and the director himself. The film received acclamation and accolade from the members of the jury board and the audience. As many as 118 films from more than 120 countries were selected for the festival in various categories.  

The film had earlier won the Asian Cinema Fund (ACF) of the Busan Film Festival in South Korea.
