Asif on the Big Screen?

Musician Asif Akbar is all set to make his silver screen debut. He will be seen in an action-thriller film called VIP. It is set to be directed by Saikat Nasir. The runtime of this big budget web film is 2 hours and 10 minutes. While talking about the movie Asif Akbar said, "I have never acted in a movie before, so only the director can explain how I will be presented in VIP. But it is true that I am about to act in a movie." The musician also stated that he was preparing himself for the role. When asked about VIP, director Saikat Nasir said, "We have been planning this for quite some time now. We are finally about to realize the plans. The budget for the film will be around 4 crore taka." He also added, "We are also in talks with Mahiya Mahi, but we have not signed anything on paper yet. We will start shooting after Eid-ul-Adha". The action-thriller will be filled with twists and turns said the director.
