Musician Nazmun Munira Nancy, known for her song Dui Dike Boshobash, from the film Projapoti, has abandoned social media platform, Facebook. Her reason behind this is that she can't keep her personal information to herself as Facebook makes everything available to the public. Furthermore, the hate comments have also emotionally scarred her. Besides, she feels that it is very important for young women to be able to grow up in a proper environment where they feel safe. She stated, "There are plenty of fake accounts in my name on Facebook, which have caused me to face serious humiliation numerous times. I've seen many people correspond with those fake accounts, believing that it's me. These are quite embarrassing."
