SAMINA & FAHMIDA AT ‘FOBANA’

In remembrance of the legendary singer, Mahmudun Nabi, Federation of Bangladeshi Associations of North America (FOBANA) are paying him a special tribute tomorrow, September 1, 2019. His daughters, Samina Chowdhury and Fahmida Nabi are attending the thirty-third edition of the three-day long conference happening in New York. FOBANA is a Bangladeshi organisation in the United States, which was formed to keep Bengali arts and culture alive for the Bangladeshis, living far away from their homeland. The conference program includes cultural performances, seminars, Bangladeshi bazaar, exhibits and talent shows, among several other festivities.
