Celebrating Life at SAU

Celebrating Life Festivals is an arrangement by the Daily Star and Standard Chartered Bank, regarding the collective film, photography and lyrics competition. The winning works from the competition, that aims to capture the Heritage of Bangladesh through Film, Photography and Lyrics, are selected and showcased at different universities across Bangladesh.

A photo exhibition and film screening was arranged recently at the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. A total of 33 photographs from Celebrating Life 2015 were exhibited along with a number of short films and documentaries. The event was inaugurated by the Director of Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Md. Sekendar Ali. Along with the daylong festivities, much to the students' delight, the event was graced by guest appearances by the veteran lyricist Mohammad Rafiquzzaman and actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha.
