Moeena Haque
Skincare
According to Moeena true beauty lies in simplicity. She prefers organic and herbal products when it comes to her daily skin care routine. Organic products contribute to maintaining her youthful skin and prevent premature ageing. Her cleansing routine begins by taking her cleaning pads and Johnson’s Oil to wipe off her makeup. The oil has suited her skin so well that she has been using it for a long time now. Her skin feels revitalized, nourished and more supple. Then she washes her face with the Neutrogena Face Wash and nourishes and rejuvenates the skin by using The Body Shop Drops Of Light™ Brightening Serum. As she loves using natural products, she tends to use home remedies to make face masks which further pampers her skin with a refreshing and natural glow. She mixes tomato, baking soda and a few drops of lemon for a brightening scrub. She has also been using an old Japanese method where she makes a paste from steamed rice and applies it on her face for a while and then washes it off with lukewarm water. She usually does this twice a week.
Haircare
Moeena loves using unrefined oil when it comes to hair care. She has color treated hair and applies oil to her hair once a week. She makes her own personalized oil by boiling amla and hibiscus and stores it in a bottle. She also applies an onion juice paste twice a week and then washes her hair with TRESemmé shampoo and conditioner.
Makeup
She loves simple, sleek and structured look, thus her makeup is mostly minimal and natural. When she steps out of her house for meetings or to run errands, she uses her oil-based moisturizer followed by a compact from MAC. She further completes her look by pairing an eyeliner and lipstick. For parties or special events, she gives herself the dolled-up look by using all MAC cosmetics. Only when it is absolutely necessary, she goes to a professional salon to get a hairdo.
Regular wear
Her ultimate favorite wear for normal days are Kurtis with a pair of leggings. She loves matching her accessories and sandals with the Kurtis.
Party wear
When it comes to events or parties she never misses the chance to drape herself in a Saree. She also wears other attires depending on the nature of the events.
