Parvez returns after 4 years

Popular Sufi musician Parvez's last release was back in Pohela Boishak 2012 with his solo album "Prohor." Four years have passed since then and finally this year he'll be releasing his new album on Pohela Boishak titled, "Pagol." This will be Parvez's third solo album with 9 new songs, four of which have been written and composed by Shoumik Kundu. Prodip Saha has penned 3 songs as well, with Ovi Akash being the composer.

When asked why the title was named as such, he replied, "Look at me, I am a Pagol (madman)! However, my madness is for music, only a madman would take four long years to get done with one solo album. I have focused on highlighting my preferences with the fans, and I hope they will enjoy the pure madness that I have for music."

With titles like "Firey Ashli Na," "Aaj Raat," and "Bidhata Janey," the album will be published by CMV featuring mostly traditional Qawwali songs.
