Sooraj Pancholi Speaks about Jiah Khan's Death

Sooraj Pancholi has opened up about the darkest period in his life, the suicide of his then girlfriend Jiah Khan. On June 3rd 2013, actor Jiah Khan was found hanging in her bedroom, which caused Sooraj to be arrested on suicide abetment charges. He was later released on bail, but in January 2014, police filed an official 447-page charge sheet. In July 2014, the Bombay HC transferred the probe to the CBI after Jiah's mother Rabia alleged murder. But in December 2015, the CBI filed a charge sheet, ruling out murder. According to Sooraj, Jiah's suicide will haunt him for the rest of his life. "I think till it doesn't end and even after it ends, people will still think that I come from a known family and so, we must have pulled strings. I am not thinking much about this. I have been blamed for something grave and I will have to live with that all my life. Even after my case is over, it will haunt me," Sooraj told Bombay Times
