Humayun Faridi One Last Time

The final film starring renowned actor Humayun Faridi has been submitted at the Censor Board and will be released soon upon approval. The shooting for the film – "Ek Jobaner Zamindar, Here Gelen Eibar" - began in 2009 but its release was postponed because of the death of producer Nazim Uddin Chairman.

The film's release was postponed again after Faridi's death. Directed by Uttam Akash, the film revolves around a zamindar (Humayun Faridi) who takes his promises very seriously and makes sure they are fulfilled. The story takes a turn when he pledges to give all his property to a poor man. Born in 1952 in Dhaka's Narinda, Faridi made his television debut through the drama, "Nil Nokshar Shondhaney" in 1982. He won the hearts of millions through his work over the years and breathed his last on 13th February, 2012.
