Liton Das is one of the best young players in the Bangladeshi cricket team. He is both a batsman and a wicket-keeper. He made his international debut in 2015, and has been a constant in the national team since then.

Star Showbiz: How do you view success?

Liton Das : To me success is like a stairway I am climbing. I also see it as an inspiration to do more. Something that will make me more interested in doing something.

 

Showbiz: How did you get involved in this field?

Liton: Since my childhood I have loved cricket. At first it was just watching, and then I fell in love with playing the game. I loved it so much that it almost became an addiction. I have been addicted to cricket since I was eight or nine years old.

 

Showbiz: Who motivated you to pursue a career in cricket?

Liton: My family always supported me while I pursued to make it as a cricketer. Aside from my family, my coach in Dinajpur, Abu Samad Mithu also helped me a lot.

 

Showbiz: What is the secret behind your success?

Liton: I am not naturally gifted, so I knew that the only way I can make it as a cricketer was through immense hard work. I used to stick to the training I had to do, and eventually I started to see that my hard work increased the chances of success.

 

Showbiz: Tell us a memorable event from your life.

Liton: Scoring a century in the Asia Cup final has to be the most memorable event in my life. I was going through a run drought, and I had never scored a century in international matches before that. So when I managed to get a century against India, I was ecstatic.

 

Showbiz: What are your future plans?

Liton: In the future, I hope to remain honest and make my family proud. I also hope to become a much better cricketer.

 

Showbiz: Do you have any advice for people who want to become professionals?

Liton: To anyone that wants to become a cricketer or any sportsman, I would advise you to stay true to your intentions. And whatever you do, put your best effort into it. You also have to work very hard, and stick to your goal.

 

Showbiz: Do you have any messages for our readers?

Liton: I hope that the readers will continue supporting me. I love all my fans, and the support I get. I hope to keep you all happy with my performances.
