PLOT: A love story between first-year resident psychiatrist doctor and a son of a wealthy family suffering from DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) who has seven personalities.

REVIEW: DID or Multiple Personality Disorder may remind the modern reviews of the 2017 movie Split. This Korean drama, while focusing on the same sickness, has a heart-wrenching story waved through layers of laugh-out-loud, heart-aching and tear-shedding emotional moments, not to mention unexpected plot twists.

The first few minutes of the first episode will make you question if Ji Sung is good enough to act as seven different characters, but slowly you'll come to realize that no one could have played the roles better than Ji Sung. The first personality, a rough punk guy named Shin Se Gi, appears when the main character Cha Doon Hyun meets Oh Ri-Jin, a female first-year resident doctor. From Cha Doon Hyun to Shin Se Gi, the transformation will make you speechless. The first episode alone establishes the DID very well, and each scene brings new twists to the story. The later episodes bring out the other personalities of Cha Doon Hyun, as a result of DID. Ji Sung really put his all into this drama; he even portrayed a female character named Ann Yo Na, which is another of Chaa Doon Hyun's personalities. As Ann Yo Na, he was hysterically entertaining, and even applied lipstick and dressed up as a sassy teenage girl. His acting alone makes the drama worth watching.

Kill Me Heal Me is filled to the brim with intense romantic moments coupled with on-point hilarity. The romantic development between the hero and the heroine is established very well, allowing smooth plot progression and smoother character development. The drama also has some amazing soundtracks, including the award-winning song Auditory Hallucination. This series has won many awards, and the writer and director deserve a round of applause for creating this series by balancing twists, drama, suspense, romance and comedy in an impressive manner. It was certainly a good choice choosing Ji Sung as the main lead because the way he represented every character did not only bring him awards, but together with Hwang Jung-Eum, they were able to form a powerful couple with great onscreen chemistry. 

Kill Me Heal Me will never bore the viewers because the suspense maintains itself until the last episode. The audience will also fall in love with each personality and in the end the build-up is more than worth it. This series' title is also explained to the audiences through messages, which makes the viewing experience more worthwhile. The casting is perfect and the storyline is thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, this series is a complete package which allows the viewer to relate with every moment and enjoy a refreshing story.
