Kabir Singh
Kabir Singh is an Indian romantic film, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Arjan Bajwa. It has been directed by Sandeep Vanga, and produced by Murad Khetani, Ashwin Varde, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The story is based around the life of an alcoholic house surgeon whose girlfriend has to marry another man. Upon hearing this, his life becomes a mess as he starts abusing drugs and alcohol. It has been based on the Telegu film, Arjun Reddy by the same director. It was initially released on June 21, 2019, under the banner of AA Films.
When They See Us
When They See Us is a drama miniseries, released on Netflix on May 31, 2019. It was directed and created by Ava DuVernay, and stars actors like Jharrel Jerome, Jovan Adepo and Michael K. Williams, among others. The series is based on the real-life events of the Central Park jogger case. It follows the lives of suspects of a rape incident that took place in Central Park in New York in 1989.

Money Heist is a Spanish language TV series, with its third season being released on July 19, 2019. The series was created by Álex Pina, and stars actors, Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño and Álvaro Morte, among others. The plot follows the planning and execution of a major bank robbery by a group of eight, under the orders of a man, called ‘The Professor’. It has been distributed by Netflix internationally, and can be watched on the platform.

Trinkets is an American teen drama web television series, created by Kirsten Smith, Amy Andelson, and Emily Meyer. It has been based on the eponymous novel by Kirsten Smith, and stars Brianna Hildebrand Kiana, Madeira and Quintessa Swindell, among others. The series, which has been produced by Don Dunn, Scott Levine and Melanie Kirk, revolves around three completely different, kleptomaniac girls, who meet at a shoplifters-anonymous meeting, and later become friends. It was originally released on June 14, 2019, and is available on Netflix.

Years and Years is a TV series with dramatic themes, both written and created by Russell T Davies, and was released first on BBC One, and later on HBO on June 24, 2019. The show follows the lives of Vivienne Rook and her family, after transitioning into a controversial political figure from a businessperson. It stars Emma Thompson, Rory Kinnear and T’Nia Miller, among others.
