Ivy dedicates victory to PM, people of N’ganj

Dedicating the victory to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the people from all walks of life of Narayanganj, newly elected mayor Selina Hayat Ivy expressed her gratitude to all as they ensured her victory in the Narayanganj City Corporation election today.

"I am grateful to my leader Sheikh Hasina, my party and the people of the city who relentlessly worked to ensure my victory," Ivy said at a press conference at her residence in the city.

"I want to work hard for the betterment of the people of Narayanganj in the next five years … impeding all the barriers … till the last day," she said.

Asked about the allegation of independent candidate Advocate Taimur Alam Khandakar, Ivy said she did not what the allegations were.
