BAF Shaheen Dhaka retain title

BAF Shaheen College of Dhaka retained the title of the Inter-Shaheen Hockey tournament with a massive 6-0 win over BAF Shaheen College of Comilla in the final on the newly laid turf at the BAF Shaheen College ground yesterday.

Shafiqul Islam of BAF Shaheen College Dhaka branch was adjudged the best player of the four-day tournament, while Shafiqul's teammate Mostafizur Rahman was the highest scorer. Both players received Tk 5,000 each.

Air vice marshal Mohammad Abul Bashar distributed trophies among the winners as chief guest were sponsor Walton's head of sports and welfare FM Iqbal Bin Anwar was also present.
