Tk one crore bonus for Tigers

Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan today said that he has announced bonus for the Tigers after their thrilling two-wicket win against Sri Lanka on Friday, adding that a bigger bonus is awaiting them if they can win Sunday's Nidahas Trophy final against India.

 "I think it's a big achievement for us and we have already declared bonus for them. At the same time it has also been told to the players that it is still not over, we have a bigger game ahead of us and if we can play well and win (the next game) the bonus will be bigger," Hassan told reporters in Colombo today. The Board announced a whopping taka one crore bonus to the members of the team for making it into the final.  

Asked if the home board has officially complained the BCB regarding the shattered door the visiting dressing room, Hassan said: "The Sri Lanka board has communicated with our CEO regarding the dressing room. I have also seen that a lot of broken glasses in the Bangladesh dressing room. But we are yet to know the details of how is has happened and who has done it. We will definitely find it and I think our players have done that. It is surely unacceptable," remarked the BCB boss.

The glassed door of the Bangladesh dressing room was shattered during the wild celebration at the R Premadasa, where aggressive bodily contact, shoving, agitated yelling, pointed fingers all marred the finish an absorbing game of cricket.

The shattered door was likely the doing of somebody inside the Bangladesh dressing room. An outward-facing camera caught a number of Bangladesh players racing down the steps in front of their dressing room as bits of glass were strewn on the stairs, the door probably having been shattered in those moments.
