Agrani down Brothers by 3 wickets

Agrani Bank defeated Brothers Union by 3 wickets as they chased down Brother's 289 with five balls to spare in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) at Fatullah today.
Agrani's Rishi Dhawan top-scored with a fantastic 59-ball 70 while Azmir Ahmed, Salman Hossain and Jahid Javed all struck half centuries during Agrani's chase. Brother's had earlier posted 289 thanks to a 200-run opening stand between Mizanur Rahman and Zunaid Siddique. Mizanur struck 102 while Zunaid scored 92 but the latter batsmen failed to capitalize on the start as they only managed to reach 289. Shafiul Islam bagged four wickets for Agrani Bank.
Rupganj vs Kalabagan
In another high-scoring game, this time at Savar, Legends of Rupganj came out trumps against Kalabagan Krira Chakra by 26 runs.
A powerful 95-ball 125 from Salauddin Pappu powered Rupganj to 314 for the loss of five wickets. In reply, Kalabagan were bowled out for 288.
Sheikh Jamal vs Khelaghar
Khelaghar defeated Sheikh Jamal by six wickets and 10 overs to spare at Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Sheikh Jamal were bowled out for 167 runs in 48 overs as Tanvir Islam bagged four wickets for 30 runs.
Al Menaria struck an unbeaten 71-ball 58 as Khelaghar bagged their fifth win in the DPL.
