Bangladesh announce squad for WI ODIs
BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming ODI series against the West Indies, scheduled to start from December 9.
Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, who has been training on his own as the Tigers sweeped the Test series 2-0 today will spearhead the side for the home series. Tamim Iqbal, recuperating from injury returned to the side following his injury in the first match against Sri Lanka at the Asia Cup. All-rounders Ariful Haque and Mohammed Saifuddin also got into the side along with spinners Nazmul Islam and Mehedi Miraz.
Soumya Sarkar, who responded to being recalled into the side with a ton in the third ODI against Zimbabwe has made the squad this time around as well along with openers Liton Das and Imrul Kayes.
