Imrul left out of 3rd, 4th ODIs
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today announced a 15-member squad for the third and fourth match of the tri-nation series, omitting opening batsman Imrul Kayes due to his finger injury .
Despite the injury, Imrul was included in the initial 16-member squad. However, as the left-hander is yet to fully recover and also considering the upcoming Sri Lanka series, the selectors decided to not risk him for the remainder of the tri-series.
Bangladesh have already qualified for the final following their record 163-run victory over Sri Lanka in their second match. Tigers currently top the table with 10 points from two matches.
Bangladesh's remaining matches against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka are to be played on January 23 and January 25 respectively. The final of the tri-nation series is scheduled for January 27.
