Champions Trophy hero Hasan Ali joins Comilla

Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Comilla Victorians have signed Pakistani pacer and Champions Trophy 2017 hero Hasan Ali for its upcoming season.

The 23-yer-old pace bowler from Punjab took 13 wickets in the Champions Trophy that Pakistan won defeating India in the final, where he took three wickets.

Hasan Ali confirmed the signing while speaking to Dawn.com: "It will be my first appearance in a foreign T20 league and I am very happy about this."

Fahim Ashraf, Imran Khan Jr and Shoaib Malik ─ will also represent Comilla Victorians in the league. Malik was previously associated with Chittagong Vikings.

Hasan Ali, who first emerged on the Pakistan cricket scene after being picked for Peshawar Zalmi in the first season of the Pakistan Super League, played a key role in Pakistan’s Champions Trophy glory. He is also famous for his unique celebration style which has found him many fans.
