It’s not true, says Sabbir
The Tigers are undergoing fitness camp as they prepare for the upcoming Test series against Australia with the first Test scheduled to start on August 27.
Batsman Sabbir Rahman was asked by reporters whether there were talks among the cricketers about the upcoming BPL.
The batsman replied: “It’s not true that the players are talking amongst themselves regarding the BPL tournament.
“All the players in the national team are focused on the fitness camp. We are not talking about the BPL.
“We had a fitness camp last year and that enabled us play eight to nine series over a period of ten to eleven months.
“I am not thinking about the BPL personally since the process of BPL doesn’t start in another three months.”
Sabbir wanted to answer all the questions about his batting performances on the field.
“I am eagerly waiting to play a match. I haven’t been among the runs in the past three to four matches so I want to score some runs and answer the questions raised,” the batsman concluded.
