Karunaratne to captain Sri Lanka A in Bangladesh tour

Dimuth Karunaratne, who fractured his finger in May will return to competitive cricket as the captain of the Sri Lanka A side in two four-day matches in their tour of Bangladesh.

Karunaratne will be available only for the first two of the three four-day matches because he is expected to play the first Test against South Africa, which clashes with the third four-day match in Bangladesh.

The first two four-day matches will be played at Cox's Bazar before Sri Lanka A move to Sylhet for the third four-day match and also the One-day matches. Selectors are expected to name a separate team for the one-day matches.
