Mash takes first ride on ‘UberMOTO’

Global pioneer app-based ride-hailing service Uber launches bike service UberMOTO for customers in Dhaka and Bangladesh’s ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza was the first one to take a ride.

After taking his first ride, Mashrafe said he was happy with his ride in a facebook post.

“That was pretty fast! Loved taking Dhaka's first UberMOTO ride. My partner was great and reminded me to wear my helmet.”

Uber had first introduced car and taxi rides for Dhaka city but now they have added bikes to their armory. The base fare of UberMOTO ride is 30 Tk and for every kilometre the fare is TK 12 while during the trip every minute adds an additional TK 1 to the fare.

Uber first started their bike ride initiative in India’s Hyderabad.
