Classy Tamim, destructive Soumya clinch series
There was no series win for West Indies here as Bangladesh blew away the visitors by eight wickets to win the ODI series 2-1.
A 131-run partnership between classy Tamim Iqbal and the destructive Soumya Sarkar saw Bangladesh get home with eight wickets and 12.3 overs to spare. Bangladesh finished the year with another ODI series victory – their third bilateral series win this year. The Tigers required 199 for victory and Tamim Iqbal carried his bat after opening the innings. Earlier it was Mehedi Miraz's brilliant spell where he had bagged four wickets, which allowed Bangladesh to restrict the Windies to 198 for 9 despite another defiant ton from Shai Hope. The right-hander continued his fine form to hit an unbeaten 131-ball 108 as the rest of the Windies batting order failed to capitalize on his brilliant innings.

Substitute Carlos Brathwaite has come on and is arguing with the umpires. The commentators on air saying it could be something to do with number of fielders inside the circle/outside it. Powell is gone as the decision stands. Brathwaite had a long long argument with some Bangladesh players and the umpires. It's still going on at the boundary line.

Shai Hope 27 (29), Darren Bravo 8 (14)
Mehedi Hasan Miraz: 2-0-8-1
Shakib Al Hasan: 2-0-15-1
Shai Hope has settled in well after the first 10 overs, not allowing the Bangladesh spinners to settle. Shakib Al Hasan was taken for 15 runs in his two overs, but that includes an edged four from Darren Bravo, who is not looking as comfortable as his in-form partner.

Shai Hope 10 (12), Darren Bravo 0 (1)
Mustafizur Rahman: 3-0-11-0
Mehedi Hasan Miraz: 2-0-8-1
The pitch looks a good one to bat on after the early exhanges as West Indies are on 20 for the wicket of Chanderpaul Hemraj after the first five overs. They will be happy that their form batsman Shai Hope, who hit a match-winning ton in the first game, is still there and will count on him to help them post a big score.
3.5 - West Indies 15/1. C Hemraj c Mithun b Mehedi 9 (17b, 2x4, 0x6)
Bangladesh claim an early wicket as off-spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz induces a thicvk edge from left-handed opener Chanderpaul Hemraj as he goes for the cut, and Mohammad Mithun takes a low catch diving forward at short third man.
