Bangladesh men's team drew 2-2 against Algeria in the 4th round of the 43rd World Chess Olympiad in Georgia on Thursday night.

GM Ziaur Rahman beat GM Rizouk Aimen, GM Abdullah Al Rakib drew against GM Bellahcene Bilel and FM Fahad Rahman drew against IM Arab Adlane. GM Enamul Hossain Razib lost to IM Belouadah Saad. Bangladesh team earned five points out four matches so far.

In women's section, Bangladesh to Estonia by 0.5-3.5 games points. Only WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin drew her board while WIM Shamima Akter Liza, WFM Tanima Parveen and WIM Rani Hamid lost their respective boards. Bangladesh woman's team earned four points from four rounds.

Bangladesh men's team were scheduled to play against Madagascar while women's were supposed to play against Singapore in the fifth round on Friday.
