Afridi thanks Kohli for special gift

India captain Virat Kohli has gifted Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi with a signed cricket bat, Deccan Chronicle reports.

The Pakistan cricketer took to twitter to thank Kohli for supporting his foundation.

"Thank you Virat Kohli for your kind gesture in support of Shahid Afridi Foundation. Friends & supporters like you ensure #HopeNotOut for everyone," Afridi wrote.

The India captain was cordial in his reply to Afridi and wrote: “You're most welcome Shahid Bhai.. Wishing you and the Shahid Afridi Foundation all the luck for the upcoming events."

Kohli is currently in Sri Lanka for the a three-match Test series. The brilliant batsman had previously gifted Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir with a bat on a number of occasions.
