Chennai pull off another heist
Chennai Super Kings pulled off another heist yesterday, beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets to go top of the Indian Premier League table.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni led the late assault as the men in yellow chased down 206 in 19.4 overs. The former India captain remained unbeaten on 70 off 34 deliveries after opener Ambati Rayudu top-scored with 82.
Batting first, Bangalore posted 205 for eight, with AB de Villiers striking a 30-ball 68.
The win took Chennai to 10 points from six games and put them ahead of Kings XI Punjab on net run-rate.
