First ODI washed out

The Bangladesh women's team tour of Ireland has so far been plagued rain and yesterday was no different as the first ODI between the sides at the Bready Cricket Club was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

It is the second time a game had to be abandoned after the second and final T20I at the same venue was abandoned due to a wet outfield. Ireland, courtesy of their 6-run win in the first T20I, claimed that series.

The second and final ODI will be held on September 10 at the same venue.
