Clarke greets Mushy in Tweet message

Australia's former Test captain Michael Clarke personally greeted Bangladesh Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim over today’s victory against Australia.

In a tweet message, he wrote to Mushfiqur, “Congratulations Buddy. Very happy for you mate.” Mishfiqur in reply also lent his thanks to Clarke.

The Bangladeshi Test captain made the message public in a Facebook post saying, “Great to have received so many texts after the match but this one stands out. More victories to follow soon in sha Allah.”

The exchange of tweet messages came hours after he expressed his surprise in a tweet this afternoon following the historic test match win.

Nevertheless, he also praised Bangladesh.

He wrote: Congratulations Bangladesh didn't think I would be writing this tweet but you need to give credit where credit is due.

Earlier, the Tigers achieve the historic feat of beating Australia for the first time in Test cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur as they take a 1-0 lead in the two-Test series.
