Mosaddek, Shuvashis in; Shafiul out

The Bangladesh team management included young batsman Mosaddek Hossain Saikat and pacer Shuvashis Roy while leaving out pacer Shafiul Islam in the 15-member squad for the Dhaka Test which was announced today.

Both the new inclusions are uncapped in Test cricket even though Saikat made his ODI debut against Afghanistan in the recent ODI series last month. 

Shafiul went wicketless in both innings of the Chittagong Test, giving away 43 runs in 12 overs in total.

The second Test in Dhaka will be held from October 28 to November 2.
