BCB calls for emergency board meeting online

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has called for an emergency board meeting today to address recent issues such as allegations of financial irregularities and chaos between clubs, players and the board. The emergency meeting will be held online over Zoom platform at 4:00 pm.
"Allegations of financial irregularities, umpiring and other matters that have come under criticism will be discussed in the meeting," a BCB source said.
On March 24, BCB's last meeting was cancelled after Tamim Iqbal suffered a heart attack. In last one month, many more incidents have come into light which the BCB has not been able to deal with convincingly.
The last time that BCB called an emergency online meeting was before the home series against South Africa when the decision to sack Chandika Hathurusingha was discussed.
