Fizz, Rishad unsold in IPL auction
Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman went unsold in the ongoing auction of the Indian Premier League in Jeddah today.
The Fizz, priced at INR 2 crores, was the first Bangladesh player to be called up on the second day of the auction but no franchise showed interest to rope in the left-arm pacer.
Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, who has a base price of INR 75 lakhs, suffered the same fate.
Ten other Bangladesh players are yet to be called up to the auction.
Mustafizur was the only Bangladesh cricketer to get picked in the last edition's auction. He played nine matches for the Chennai Super Kings, taking 14 wickets at an economy rate of 9.26.
