Liton attains highest Test rating in Bangladesh's history
Liton Das attained career-best ratings in Tests after remaining instrumental with the bat in Bangladesh's recently-concluded two-Test series against Sri Lanka at home.
Liton, who played a 141-run knock in the final match of the tour, moved up five places to 12 in the rankings with 724 rating points, highest by any Bangladesh batter in history.
The elegant right-hander also scored a total of 281 runs and notched two fifties in the series.
The previous highest rating in Tests by a Bangladesh batter was obtained by Tamim Iqbal (709).
Liton, in fact, has been amongst runs in Tests for a while, yielding runs at an average of 59.8 in his last 10 innings.
