The second Women's ODI between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka was washed out without a ball bowled on Tuesday. The unrelenting rain meant there wasn't even the chance to have the toss at the P Sara Oval in Colombo.

This was the fourth consecutive washout for Bangladesh in Women's Championship, with the first match of the three-match series also washed out. There was some play, however, in the first match as Sri Lanka had scored 152 for six in 36.4 overs before rain interrupted. The last two matches of Bangladesh's New Zealand tour were also washed out in December last year.

With four out of five matches washed out, Bangladesh are currently in seventh position in the Women's Championship ranking with four points. Sri Lanka, with four points having played one more match than Bangladesh, are in eighth position.

India are on top of the table with 12 points from six matches.

The last match of the series against Sri Lanka is scheduled to be played in Colombo on Thursday.
