Shakib ruled out of 3rd ODI with finger injury
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been ruled out of Sunday's third and final ODI against Ireland with a finger injury.
National Team physio Bayjedul Islam Khan said: "Shakib hurt the tip of his right index finger while attempting a catch yesterday (Friday) in the second ODI.
"An X-ray today (Saturday) confirmed a fracture on the base of the index finger. Such injuries usually take around six weeks to heal. Unfortunately, this means he is not available for the last match against Ireland."
Bangladesh batter Najmul Hossain Shanto struck his maiden ODI hundred as Bangladesh sealed a win in dramatic style on Friday to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series after the first game was abandoned due to rain.
