Tag blunder: Smith wishes Valentine’s Day to wrong woman

Australia batter Steven Smith faced struggles with the bat in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India but the 33-year-old seemed to have brought some of his on-field decisions to the world of social media as well.  

The batter managed to score 37 and unbeaten 25 in the two innings of the first Test in Nagpur and on Tuesday, he seemingly had lost his immaculate focus making an error while wishing his wife on Valentine's Day.

Smith took to Twitter to wish his wife, Dani Willis, a happy Valentine's Day but made the blunder of tagging the wrong person who also has the same name.

"Happy Valentine's Day to my beautiful wife @dani_willis. Can't wait to see you in a couple of days," he tweeted while tagging the wrong person.

But thankfully for Smith, his wife isn't a regular user of Twitter as her last retweet was in January 2018, while her last tweet was on November 2017.
