Tigresses restrict India to 95
Bangladesh restricted India to 95 for eight in 20 overs – India's lowest score against the women in red and green – in the second T20I at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.
Having won the first match quite convincingly, India opted to bat first in the second match on winning the toss. But the vaunted batting attack was under the cosh from the Bangladesh bowlers right from get go, with wickets falling at regular intervals.
Opener Shafali Verma's 19 was the highest of the innings for the visitors. Sultana Khatun took three wickets while Fahima Khatun took two for Bangladesh.
