Warner out of second Test with head knock: reports

Australia opener David Warner will play no further part in the second Test against India after suffering a concussion when he was struck in the head while batting on day one, Australian media reported on Saturday.

The tourists, who suffered a heavy defeat in the opening Test and were dismissed for 263 in their first innings on Friday, will bring Matt Renshaw into the team as a concussion substitute, the reports said.

In Delhi on Friday, Warner took 21 balls to get off the mark, was hit on the elbow and helmet by Mohammed Siraj before Mohammed Shami put his 44-ball struggle to an end by getting him caught behind.
