Young Tigers stage comeback to draw Afghanistan series 

Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team won their second and final ODI of the two-match series against Afghanistan with a 68-run win at the Tolerance Stadium in the UAE on Wednesday.

The win helped the young Tigers draw the series 1-1 after they lost the first ODI on Monday. 

Batting first, Bangladesh were bundled out for 231. 

Mohammad Shihab James hit 12 fours and two sixes for his 98 and Sheikh Parvez Jibon's 48 helped their side go past the 200-mark.

Afghanistan's Yama Arab scalped four wickets and Farid Dawoodzai picked up two.

In reply, Afghanistan were bowled out for 168 with 4.2 overs remaining. 

Sohail Khan Zurmati top-scored with 88 but no other batter could reach the 20-run mark for Afghanistan.

Mohammad Rafiuzzaman was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets for 32 runs, while Mohammad Rohanat and Mahfuzur Rahman scalped two wickets each.

Bangladesh will now shift their focus to the tri-series involving Afghanistan and Sri Lanka starting on March 18 when the young Tigers will take on Afghanistan.

Bangladesh will now shift their focus to the tri-series involving Afghanistan and Sri Lanka starting on March 18 when the young Tigers will take on Afghanistan.
