Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan bowled a tidy spell and picked up his first wicket of the Indian Premier League 2016 as Kolkata Knight Riders restricted Rising Pune Supergiants to 160 for five at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadiium in Pune on April 24, 2016.

Shakib, who bowled the most economical spell for his side by giving away just 14 runs in three overs, took the wicket of Pune opener Faf Du Plessis with a peach of a delivery. Shakib, brought on to bowl in the fourth over after Kolkata chose to field first, turned his sixth delivery sharply from middle and leg and beat Du Plessis' defensive prod to take the off bail.

The left-arm spinner was hit for just one four in his three overs. His last two overs went for just seven runs.

Shakib was not as good with the bat though, as coming in to bat at number four, he played nine balls for his three before being bowled off the inside edge by Rajat Bhatia, with the score at 60 for three after 6.3 overs.
