Higa wins BTI Open

Japanese rookie Kazuki Higa cruised to a three-shot victory to clinch the BTI Open at the Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka today.

The 23-year-old from Okinawa, who led since carding a 10-under in the opening round, settled for a two-under-par (70) for an aggregate of 17-under-par (271) in the tri-sanctioned event.

Bangladesh's Jamal Mollah finished second at 14-under-par (274) while Malcolm Kokocinski of Sweden and Miguel Carballo of Argentina shared the third position a shot further back. 

Three other Bangladeshis finished within top ten, with Siddikur Rahman and Sajib Ali at 279 and Mohammad Nazim at 280.
