Bangladesh's premier golfer Siddikur Rahman managed to qualify for the PIF Saudi International.

The upcoming golf tournament is scheduled for February 3-6 at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City near Jeddah.

Siddikur will be competing against renowned golfers of the international arena with a prize money of 5 million US dollars (Approx. BDT 43 crores) up for grabs.

The 37-year-old, who remained somewhat inactive since the Covid-19 pandemic struck, had to take part in the recently-concluded SMBC Singapore Open, which was a qualifier stage for the upcoming Saudi International.

"I'm not bothered at all about the prize money. It feels great to think that I would be playing with some of the best golfers out there. I'll try to present my best game," said Siddikur, who is set to leave for Jeddah tonight.
