Mamat in complete command
Mardan Mamat consolidated his lead in Bashundhara Bangladesh Open as Dulal Hossain's title hopes in his home course of Kurmitola faded after the third round today.
The Singaporean overnight leader extended his lead to three strokes at 12-under (201) ahead of Khalin Khalin Joshi (Nine-under) of India and and Soomin Lee (eight-under) of Korea.
Bangladesh's Dulal, who played an event-best eight-under in the second round, failed to replicate his previous day performance with a one-over (72) in the third round.
Dulal shot five birdies, two bogeys and two double bogeys to take joint-seventh position at five-under (208).
Siddikur Rahman dropped to 65th position after a four-over (75) in the penultimate round for an aggregate of six-over (219).
