England’s first training session ahead of their Euro 2016 campaign on Wednesday was briefly interrupted as a man, fully dressed in the Three Lions’ training kit, somehow made his way onto the St. George’s Park pitch and began to practice with the internationals.
He even managed to knock the balls about with the players before he was found out and duly escorted off the pitch.
The invader was the son of a Club Wembley member and was one of the small group of fans who were invited along as VIPs to watch the open session, a spokesperson for the Football Association said.
It is believed that he leapt onto the pitch during the drinks break.
