Maradona claims daughters stole $1.85m from him
Diego Maradona’s two daughters have defrauded the Argentine of $1,850,000, reports newspaper Corriere del Mezzogiorno.
The legendary former Argentine is reportedly also set to sue his two daughters after they transferred the money to a Uruguyan bank.
The bizarre news was brought Italia media and Argentine television reported the story on Thursday.
Apparently Maradona has told his lawyer to take legal action against his two daughters – 30-year-old Dalma Maradona and his 28-year-old daughter Gianinna Maradona.
Media has also reported that Maradona accuses his ex-wife Claudia Villafane - the mother of the two girls - for masterminding the theft.
Maradona is currently coaching UAE’s Al Fujairah SC.
The ex-footballer has never shied away from the spotlight even after his retirement.
In 2015, Maradona had accused his ex-wife Villafane and her partner Jorge Taiana of defrauding him off 9 million pounds.
