Mushfiqur out for 2 weeks
Bangladesh batting linchpin Mushfiqur Rahim suffered an injury during the second T20I of the 4-match series against Zimbabwe at Khulna today.
He will be out for two weeks, our correspondent reports quoting Khaled Mahmud, manager of Bangladesh cricket team after the match.
Although Mushfiqur is included in the squad for the last two games of the Zimbabwe series, he will be rested so he can properly recuperate from his niggles.
Mushfiqur was seen playing the T20 series against Zimbabwe as a specialist batsman as Nurul Hasan stood behind the wickets.
Fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain, spinner-allrounder Shuvagata Hom and Mustafizur Rahman were left out of the squad for the next two games against Zimbabwe on January 20 and 22 respectively.
Mustafizur was seen limping off during his last over, and was unable to complete his full quota of four overs.
