Lionel Messi was in full-fledged holiday spirit while in his hometown of Rosario. Anontela Rocuzzo, his wife, shared photographs of the family on Instagram with their children Thiago, Mateo and Ciro. "We wish you a Christmas filled with light and love. Merry Christmas," she wrote.

Diego Maradona simply could not wait for Christmas eve. A week prior to Christmas Eve, the Argentine posted a picture of himself with the Christmas tree and captioned the photo: “Christmas Eve is coming, Christmas is coming.”
